Icey Lake

The big lake is finally trying to freeze over but the ever present waves are building up the ice on shore.

A beautiful day snowshoeing in the Park into lakes full of trout. 

Ice Crystals

 Ice is building up on trees in the lake, slowly accumulating ice with every wave passing by to create crystals of ice hanging off the limbs.

Lake Rainbow

The inland lakes are too slushy to go fishing and its above freezing so a good time to get some fish out of the big lake. 

Winter Fishing

The temperature hasn't been cold enough to freeze the lakes solid and lots of slush still above the ice but still able to find some fish under the ice.  Wishing for colder weather for a real winter.

Snow

A couple days ago dropped a foot of snow on the ground which is quickly melting in the rain.
