River Rainbow and Orange Sky

There was a rainbow over the Michipicoten River as a dark cloud passed by from the west and I caught the sky over Michipicoten Bay just after the sun set.

The first day of grouse season opened with 1 bird for dinner after another wonderful sunset on Lake Superior.

Late Summer Fruits

The blueberry season is at an end with lots of berries left but getting very mushy and bland tasting.
The mushrooms are sprouting after a heavy rain and the Mountain Ash berries are plentiful.
