Snow Clouds

Ever Present Sow Clouds drift over Lake Superior Provincial Park in the distant south.

Frozen Puddles

The water among the rocks has long frozen over.  It will be a few more months before Lake Superior loses enough heat to start freezing.

Wind Bound

Windbound on Lake Superior, drying out after the storm and resting up for the paddle home.  The wind swung from the south to the south west blowing massive swells parallel to the shore and breaking heavy on shore.

Dog River

Paddled the Dog River this last week and along the coast of Lake Superior.  Started off walking most of the river then after a couple days of storms got caught in major water coming out of a couple waterfalls and then hanging out on a beach on Lake Superior waiting out the huge waves to subside.  Ended the trip with a snow storm chasing us down the lake towards the Michipicoten River.

Bush Cabins

There are unique bush cabins along the Algoma Railway line with assorted implements scattered about the yards.
